Holly Willoughby (born Holly Marie Willoughby) is a 28-year old British television presenter/commentator and former model who works primarily in children and reality television. Although she was born in Brighton, Holly Willoughby was schooled at Burgess Hill School for Girls in West Sussex, and continued her education at The College of Richard Collyer. When she was only 14, Holly Willoughby was noticed by a talent agent during fashion program, The Clothes Show. Shortly thereafter, she began work as a model, appearing in teen magazines such as "Mizz", "Just Seventeen", and "More". In 1998, Holly Willoughby began modeling hosiery and lingerie for a handful of private labels.
In 2000, Holly Willoughby made the move from modeling to performing by securing a spot on "S Club TV"- an alternative pop group similar to S Club 7 where she played the role of Zoe. The role opened up a slew of other television opportunities, with the first being a children's entertainment series "Xchange", followed by "X-perimental" and "CBBC at the Fame Academy". But it was the pre-teen series "Ministry of Mayhem" (2004) that would catapult her to national recognition. (The show's name was later changed to "Holly & Stephen's Saturday Showdown in part because of Holly Willoughby's popularity.) Other children's shows followed, including the reality show "Feel the Fear (2005) and "Stars in Their Eyes" (2004).
